For the first time since 1994 and the fourth time in history, the Hibbing boys hockey program will play in state title game. Back then they were just Hibbing. Today, it’s a co-op with Chisholm to form the Hibbing/Chisholm varsity team.
They beat Mahtomedi in Friday’s first Class A semifinal. They will play the winner of the Delano/Warroad game in Saturday’s Class A championship game.
