The Buffalo Sabres are red-hot right now and I don’t think there is a team that they cannot beat right around now.

For the second night in a row, the Buffalo Sabres were THEE team to watch, the arena to be in and the atmosphere to be apart of. The Buffalo Sabres have been good for the past few months, but the vibe is even DIFFERENT from that and it’s better.

You didn’t think that the Sabres could top the game that happened on Sunday night against Tampa Bay where there were over 100 minutes in penalties, 15 goals and more fights that we have seen in decades at Key Bank Center–but, the first period tonight against San Jose at least felt like a continuation of that.

Within the first 5 minutes there were 2 huge goals and 2 fights, including Logan Stanley, newcomer marking his territory and fighting right in the middle of the arena on the logo, gloves dropped, the anticipation and the crowd going absolutely insane.

Watch some of the fights that happened right in the beginning of the Buffalo Sabres and San Jose Sharks game.

The Buffalo Sabres got goals from Zucker, Tuch, Beck and Jack Quinn with the hattrick on the night.

The Buffalo Sabres have won 8 in a row and the franchise record (that they have already tied this year) is within reach again–in the same year. The Buffalo Sabres are back at home at Key Bank Center two more times this week including Thursday against Washington and then Toronto on Saturday night.

The Buffalo Sabres have a 99.1% chance of making the playoffs as of today (I know–it’s going to happen of course, but it is fun the closer we get to 100% chance and it is not even the halfway point through March).
