Forbes released its list of the 400 richest people in the U.S. on March 11, and Nashville Predators majority owner Bill Haslam made it.

Coming in at No. 264, Haslam’s net worth is listed as $5.7 billion, up from $5.1 billion in 2025. The former Tennessee governor has been on Forbes’ list since 2017, having made his wealth by owning over 800 Pilot Flying J gas stations throughout the country.

Haslam, 67, announced he would be buying ownership stake in the Predators from former majority owner Herb Fritch. He officially took over as Predators majority owner on July 1, 2025.

In January 2025, Haslam announced his intention to bid for a WNBA franchise in Nashville. The bid failed, but Haslam has said he’s still focused on trying to bring the WNBA to Tennessee.

In December 2025, the Predators announced former Alabama coach Nick Saban had purchased a minority stake in the Predators. Saban said his relationship with Haslam is one of the reasons he set out on the venture.
