3. UB, Broadview Federal Credit Union announce new $31 million partnership
A new $31 million partnership between the University at Buffalo and Broadview Federal Credit Union will result in new names for both UB Stadium and Alumni Arena, as well as an Athletics Village between the two. They will now be called Broadview Stadium, Broadview Arena and Broadview Village, respectively.

As U.S.-Israeli attacks on Iran continue, more American service members are deploying to the region, and families back home are living with that reality every day. In one upstate New York home, every flag, photo, and lawn sign points to a 19-year-old Navy sailor named Giana who serves as an aviation ordnanceman and is now deployed overseas. Spectrum News 1 is not identifying Giana’s full name at the request of her family.Â

Sabres’ Quinn nets first career hat trick in win over Sharks
Jack Quinn capped his three-goal outing with an empty-netter for his first career NHL hat trick, and the Buffalo Sabres won their eighth straight by beating the San Jose Sharks 6-3 on Tuesday night.
Jason Zucker and Beck Malenstyn broke the game open by scoring four minutes apart in the second period. Alex Tuch also scored, posting his 300th career point with Buffalo, in his 600th career NHL game, and captain Rasmus Dahlin and Ryan McLeod had three assists each.
Alex Lyon stopped 17 shots, improving to 15-2 in his past 17 starts.
