ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — The latest shuttle between Rockford and Chicago for goaltender Drew Commesso has taken him back to Rockford and to the AHL. He was returned to the IceHogs Wednesday.
Commesso just earned his second career NHL win with the Blackhawks Monday night against Utah. His first career win back on January 10 in Nashville was a shutout.
Commesso, 23, has spent most of this season with the IceHogs. In 28 games he has a record of 9-16-3 with a .899 save percentage and a 3.07 GAA. He has one shutout.
The IceHogs play in Milwaukee Wednesday night before returning home for games Friday and Saturday against the Chicago Wolves and the Iowa Wild.
