The Adirondack 46ers 19U Girls hockey team, part of the Malone Minor Hockey Association, finished as finalists at the 2026 New York State Championship Tournament, held at the Nexus Center in Utica.
With their strong showing at the state tournament, the 46ers have qualified for the 2026 USA Hockey National Championships, set for April 25–29 in Rockland, Massachusetts.
The team advanced through a highly competitive field and reached the state championship game after a thrilling 1–0 overtime semifinal victory over the Adirondack Northstars. Although the 46ers fell short in the championship game, their performance earned them the opportunity to represent New York State at the national tournament.
The 46ers roster features players from communities across the North Country: Sophie Merriman (#3), Parishville, Sophia Amaya-Gutierrez (#6), Plattsburgh, Joie Jabaut (#9), Massena, Amaya Abellard (#10), Plattsburgh, Adyson Campbell (#11), Plattsburgh, Audrina McAllister (#13), North Lawrence, Taytum Cook (#14, Akwesasne, Alexis Smith (#16), Winthrop, Julia Jackson (#18), Akwesasne, Katelynn McCormick (#21), Plattsburgh, Kyra Collins (#27), Massena, Kori Lamoy (#29), Plattsburgh, Lillian Fregoe (#77), Massena, and Olivia LaFlesh (#88), Malone.
The team is coached by Matt Jones of Malone, with assistant coach Jason Lamoy of Plattsburgh. Melissa LaFlesh of Malone serves as team manager.
The Adirondack 46ers compete under the Malone Minor Hockey Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to developing youth hockey players both on and off the ice.
