Calgary prospect Andrew Basha and the WHL champions Medicine Hat Tigers defeated the OHL champions 3-1 on Tuesday to book their place in Sunday’s Final of the 2025 Memorial Cup.

The Tigers have now gone undefeated during the round-robin stage.

While the stats sheet show the 19-year-old Basha has put up one assist in the tournament, he has been important in sending in dangerous passes that unfortunately don’t get put into the back of the net by his teammates.

The Calgary native will have one more game to make a lasting impact.

The Knights will face off against the winner of Wednesday’s game of the Rimouski Oceanic vs Moncton Wildcats in Friday’s semifinal to determine who will face the Tigers in the Final. Fellow Flames prospect Etienne Morin plays for Moncton.

All three games are slated to start at 7 pm ET/4pm PT.
