The Nashville Predators and forward Zachary L’Heureux have agreed to a two-year, $1.75-million contract extension.
L’Heureux, 22, has appeared in 10 games for Nashville this season, posting one goal and a plus-3 rating in 11:51 of average ice time.
With the Predators’ AHL affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals, the 5-foot-11, 197-pound forward has recorded 14 goals (fourth-most among Milwaukee skaters) and 28 points across 28 games.
Originally selected by Nashville in the first round (27th overall) of the 2021 NHL Draft, L’Heureux ended his rookie campaign last season with five goals, 15 points, and 198 hits (first among rookies) in 62 appearances.
In 98 career games with the Admirals, the forward has recorded 36 goals and 81.
