Seattle Kraken News & Notes:

The Kraken lost their last game 6-2 on Tuesday night. In their last five games, Seattle has a 2-3-0 record, scoring 3.2 goals per game while allowing 3.8. Seattle and Nashville have split the first two games of the season series, and Thursday will be the third and final meeting. Seattle currently has the second Wild Card spot in the Western Conference. They hold the tiebreaker over the Kings as they both have 71 points. The San Jose Sharks are a point behind both with a game in hand, so every game down the stretch is critical for the Kraken if they want to hang on to their wild-card spot.

Nashville Predators News & Notes:

The Predators won their last game 4-3 in a shootout against the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday night. In their previous five games, the Predators have a 2-3-0 record, scoring 2.8 goals while conceding three. Nashville sits two points behind the Kraken in the Wild Card chase. A win tonight would make the final 14 games extremely interesting to watch, as things are tight in the Western Conference right now.
