The professional hockey career for Cole Eiserman starts now.
Everything became official on Wednesday afternoon, as the Newburyport native signed an entry level contract with the New York Islanders. Eiserman was the first-round pick (No. 20 overall) in the 2024 NHL Draft by the Islanders, and has spent the past two seasons at Boston University. A return to the Terriers for a junior season wasn’t out of the question, but after taking some time to deliberate, Eiserman decided that it was time to begin his professional hockey journey.
