The No. 2 Wisconsin Badgers women’s hockey team shutout No. 7 Quinnipiac, 6-0, to advance to their fourth straight Frozen Four.
This year’s edition is set to take place at the Pegula Ice Arena in University Park, Pennsylvania. Coincidentally, the Badgers‘ Frozen Four opponent just so happens to be the team that’s hosting this year’s event, No. 3 Penn State.
Wisconsin’s loss to Ohio State in the WCHA Championship game bumped it from No. 1 to No. 2 seed, which means it has to play the Nittany Lions instead of No. 5 Northeastern.
PSU also cruised to victory in its Regional Final matchup, defeating UConn, 3-0. Now, Wisconsin must take down a fellow Big Ten rival in order to set up what many expect to be the fourth year in a row it’ll meet the Buckeyes in the National Championship game.
With the hours counting down until puck drop, here is where and when to watch the Badgers and Nittany Lions face off.
