If you love basketball, this is your weekend as March Madness is in full swing. While I’m not doing well with my bracket, it’s still fun watching the field of 64 go dancing. It’s always exciting when a long shot advances in the tournament. Who is this year’s Cinderella?
The Flyers are out west and have won their first two games of their west coast trip. The Flyers, despite winning three of their last four games, haven’t picked up any ground in the hunt for a wild card playoff berth in the Eastern Conference. Flyers head coach Rick Tocchet really wants this team to make the playoffs; The Flyers haven’t been in the playoffs since 2020.
The Philadelphia 76ers are currently in the ninth spot in the NBA playoff race. With 14 games left in their regular season, the Sixers are on track for the play-in tournament if they do not jump back up to 6th place in the standings. The Phillies are six days away from opening day. Spring hopes eternal and with the sound of the bat hitting the ball, we get excited for the Phillies 2026 season. We will cover it all in The Locker Room with Billy Schweim.
