Justus Annunen, filling in for injured Juuse Saros, stopped 25 shots on Thursday night while Filip Forsberg had a goal and two assists in Nashville’s 3-1 victory over the visiting Seattle Kraken. Ryan O’Reilly’s power-play goal at 7:11 of the second period gave the Predators the lead for good. Ryan Ufko also scored and Forsberg’s late empty-net tally sealed the win.

Adin Hill allowed three goals on three shots in the first 8:12 of the game as the Golden Knights dropped a 4-0 decision to the visiting Utah Mammoth on Thursday night. Akira Schmid stopped all 14 shots he faced after replacing Hill, but the damage had already been done as Vegas took its second straight shutout loss to close out a 2-2-0 homestand.

Saros, a game-time decision for Saturday, is 24-19-7 with an .894 save percentage and 3.14 goals against average. Pavel Dorofeyev’s 34 goals pace Vegas, with Jack Eichel and Tomáš Hertl each with 24. Eichel’s 74 points lead the team. Schmid stands 16-9-6 with two shutouts, an .895 save percentage and 2.54 GAA.
