Matvei Michkov reached 100 career NHL points yesterday, hitting the milestone in his second season with the Flyers. He achieved it in 148 games, making him the 4th-fastest Flyers player to reach 100 points since the 1990-91 season (behind only Eric Lindros, Mikael Renberg, and Simon Gagne).

It’s an impressive feat for a player drafted 7th overall in 2023 who didn’t join the NHL until 2024-25 due to his KHL commitments. Career breakdown so far (as of the milestone):
147 games played before the point (totaling around 148 at milestone)
42 goals and 58 assists for 100 points
His rookie season (2024-25) was strong with 26 goals and 63 points in 80 games. This season (2025-26), he’s had a tougher go with a sophomore slump, sitting at 16 goals and 36 points through 67 games as of recent updates, but he’s been heating up lately—on a 3-game point streak with 4 assists and showing better form post-Olympic break (8 points in 13 games at one recent mark).

He has become a steal of the draft and marking him the first from the 2023 class (among those who didn’t play NHL right away) to hit 100 points.
Congrats to Michkov—what a player he’s becoming for Philly!
