The St. Louis Blues today signed Sacred Heart forward Felix Trudeau to a two-year entry-level contract beginning with the 2026-27 season. Trudeau will play for the Springfield Thunderbirds on an Amateur Tryout for the rest of the 2025-26 season. Trudeau this season played in 39 games for Sacred Heart, where he recorded 48 points on 25 goals and 23 assists. He was a +14 with 12 power-play goals and five game-winning goals. Trudeau was second in the NCAA in goals and seventh in points. Sacred Heart lost to Bentley in the AHA Conference Championship game. In the six games of the tournament, he had seven points on two goals and five assists.

Felix Trudeau
Trudeau started his collegiate career at the University of Maine in 2022-23. In 28 games that season, he had eight points on three goals and five assists; he was a plus-two. In his second season at Maine, he played in 24 games, recording five points on three goals and two assists; he was a plus-one. He then transferred to Sacred Heart, where in his first season, he played in 39 games, recording 38 points on 15 goals and 23 assists. He was a plus-one with seven power-play goals and three game-winning goals.

The Thunderbirds are fighting for their playoff lives and need a playmaker. It’ll be interesting to see if he’ll be in the lineup when they face the Providence Bruins on Wednesday night in a pivotal game. He’ll also look to make a statement and his case to be on the roster for the Blues next season after they’re expected to make some moves in the offseason.
