The Florida Everblades released the team’s schedule for the 2025-26 ECHL regular season, and the Blades will look to reach the Kelly Cup Finals again after falling just short this season.Following Florida’s 4-2 series loss to the Trois-Rivières Lions in the Eastern Conference finals, the Everblades will hit the ice in the regular season again on Oct. 17 with a road game against the Orlando Solar Bears.Next season will be the 28th season for the Blades. Florida will play its first home game of the season at Hertz Arena against Orlando on Oct. 18.With a 72-game schedule, the Everblades will have 36 home games and 36 away games. Fifty-four of those games will be against the other six South Division teams, while the other 18 matchups are outside the division against six teams.In South Division play, Florida will play Orlando and the Jacksonville Icemen 12 times each. The remaining divisional opponents include the Savannah Ghost Pirates 10 times, the Atlanta Gladiators and the Greenville Swamp Rabbits seven times, and the South Carolina Stingrays six times.Outside of the division, the Blades seem to have some tough competition. Four of their six opponents qualified for the 2025 Kelly Cup playoffs. Matchups with playoff teams from this season includes hosting the Fort Wayne Komets and the Reading Royals, as well as visiting the Wichita Thunder and the Norfolk Admirals.Florida will also welcome the Maine Mariners to Hertz Arena, and it will make a trip to play the Worcester Railers.Two separate five-game homestands for the Everblades, against Reading and Orlando from Dec. 27 to Jan. 3 and then matching up with Maine and Jacksonville from Feb. 11 to Feb. 21, are the longest stretches at Hertz Arena next season.
