The Colorado Avalanche (47-13-10) conclude their four-game road trip and open a home-and-home against the Winnipeg Jets (30-29-12). Puck drop is scheduled for 6:08 p.m. MT.

Key Stories to Watch

The Avalanche have won each of the first three games of the road trip, while giving up just five goals. They hold a seven-point lead on the Dallas Stars for the top seed in the Central Division with a game in hand.

Artturi Lehkonen makes his return to the lineup after missing the last 11 games with an upper-body injury. He’ll likely join Nazem Kadri and Logan O’Connor on the third line, while Joel Kiviranta, Jack Drury, and Parker Kelly will reunite on the fourth line. The last remaining injury is Nic Roy, who is going to miss some time.

The Jets defeated the Avs in the last meeting between the two clubs, which also took place at Canada Life Centre. Colorado is 1-6-0 in its last seven regular-season games in Winnipeg. This includes three shutout losses and just four goals in those six losses combined. The lone victory was a 5-1 final in February 2023.

Colorado is starting Mackenzie Blackwood, who is 2-0 on the trip. He’ll go up against Connor Hellebuyck. Despite struggling in that 2024 playoff series against the Avs, Hellebuyck has been nearly unbeatable in regular season play. He has a 10-2 record in his last 12 games against Colorado excluding the playoffs, with a .948 save percentage, 1.63 goals against average, and four shutouts.
