There is a new sign in Buffalo, New York as you enter on the 33 that was changed for the the head coach of the Buffalo Sabres.
The sign that usually says WELCOME TO BUFFALO was changed to “WELCOME TO LINDY RUFFALO”, a nod of course to the Buffalo Sabres coach who is on a historic run with the Buffalo Sabres right now. Rory Allen, who owns Zoom Buffalo did the good deed for the Buffalo Sabres fans in Western New York and posted up the video last night.
In the video, he even notes (probably for the people who are having a meltdown for changing the sign as a fun joke) that it is just a cling and can be taken down in less than one minute and it is not permanent.
It is a big weekend for Buffalo Sabres right now—and all of Western New York is jumping on the band wagon if they have not already. The Buffalo Sabres are home for the next 3 games and can possibly clinch a spot in the playoffs, which would be the first time that the Buffalo Sabres go to the playoffs since 2011.
