We have important news regarding young players in the Montreal Canadiens organization, and it will have an impact on Kent Hughes.
The college season has just ended for prospects Logan Sawyer and Emmett Croteau.
Providence was officially eliminated on the ice last night, as Logan Sawyer’s team lost by a score of 5-2 to Quinnipiac. In that bitter loss, Logan Sawyer still managed to score a goal.
It is worth recalling that at the 2024 draft, Logan Sawyer heard his name called after Ivan Demidov and Michael Hage.
Now, the Montreal Canadiens’ management will have to evaluate the next step in his development.

That specific scenario would directly open the door to a signing with the Montreal Canadiens.
