We open up NHL predictions with our featured game between the Minnesota Wild and the Boston Bruins. Filip Gustavsson is the expected starter for Minnesota but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Wild are 4-4-2 in their previous 10 games but have won three of their last five games. Brock Faber has six points, including five assists in his last 10 games.

Jeremy Swayman is the probable starter for the Bruins, who are 5-2-3 in the last 10 games. This includes three victories in their last four games. Boston is in the first wild card spot in the Eastern Conference. However, the race is a tight one with several teams within striking distance. David Pastrnak has 61 assists and 90 points so far this season for the Bruins.

Both teams are in need of points for different reasons. However, Boston gets the job done at home.

Prediction: Bruins win 4-3.
