The Montreal Canadiens shared their traditional post-game video after a strong win over the Nashville Predators.
From the opening seconds, head coach Martin St-Louis is seen warmly shaking hands with his assistant.
St-Louis flashes a big smile as he heads back toward his team’s locker room—and it’s great to see.
The camera then catches young goaltender Jacob Fowler, clearly pleased with how things unfolded, receiving congratulations from his teammates, notably Jakub Dobes.
Next, Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Juraj Slafkovsky perform their now-famous “power of friendship” celebration.
Listening closely, you can even hear what they’re saying on the ice, which is quite rare!
Jayden Struble gets the wolf head as Nick Suzuki celebrates 300th assist
Inside the locker room, the player-of-the-game ritual continued in high spirits.
Zachary Bolduc stood up to present the famous wolf head to defenseman Jayden Struble.
Laughing, the recipient didn’t seem entirely convinced by the choice, jokingly saying “that’s a crazy pick” to his teammates.
Despite his surprise, Jayden Struble immediately took a moment to rally the group for the next challenge.
He reminded everyone of the importance of securing another big win this Sunday against the Carolina Hurricanes.
The celebrations didn’t stop there for the Habs.
Juraj Slafkovsky stepped up to present a commemorative puck to his captain, Nick Suzuki.
A meaningful keepsake marking No. 14’s 300th career assist in the National Hockey League.
True to form, Nick Suzuki showed humility by thanking young Ivan Demidov.
It was Demidov who set up Suzuki’s milestone 300th assist.
See the great footage here:
Yes, it’s a bit surprising that Jayden Struble received the wolf head instead of Ivan Demidov, but it’s hardly a big deal.
