Carrie Underwood is a regular fixture on our TV screens, thanks to her role as a judge on American Idol. Plus, she’s often seen on the red carpet and on stage performing her mega hits. But her husband, Mike Fisher, tends to take a lower profile.

Mike is a former professional hockey player, who retired from the sport in 2018 after a career with the Ottawa Senators and Nashville Predators. He and Carrie got married in 2010 and share two sons, Isaiah and Jacob. Carrie keeps her fans updated on her life at their farm and on the road via social media, but Mike hasn’t posted anything on Instagram since 2023.

The couple shared a rare public date night, thanks to one of Mike’s former teams. On March 28, Mike and Carrie attended the Predators’ game against the Montréal Canadiens at Bridgetown Arena for their own bobblehead night.

The Predators have hosted a series of Music City bobblehead nights, celebrating their most famous fans. This season, Carrie and Mike were joined by Nate Bargatze, Dierks Bentley, and Luke Bryan.

Carrie shared some photos from the event on her Instagram story, including one calling out the night’s entertainment, Presley & Taylor.

Sibling duo Presley & Taylor took the Band Stage to perform during the game. The singer-songwriters, who were celebrating their first arena performance, put their spin on Carrie’s 2012 hit “Good Girl,” and earned the American Idol winner’s praise. She commented, “You ladies did a fantastic job tonight!”

Carrie shared on Instagram that she ended the night bottle-feeding lambs on her Nashville farm. The superstar revealed earlier this month that she had adopted two orphan lambs, Maggie and Murray. American Idol returns tonight with a special “Songs of Faith” episode.
