The Florida Panthers forward will return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Ottawa Senators after missing two games due to the birth of his son, head coach Paul Maurice told reporters.

Bennett, 29, has 25 goals and 54 points in 70 games this season. He also played for Team Canada at the Olympics.

Nolan Foote will come out of the lineup to make way for Bennett.

While the Panthers are out of the playoff race, Tuesday’s game is a big one for the Senators, who sit two points out of a wild-card spot.
