On Thursday Prime Video announced the latest roster of players for the second season of “FACEOFF: Inside the NHL” set to premiere in fall 2025.

The list features a trio of Dallas Stars players who will be in the spotlight on the ‘Formula 1: Drive to Survive’ style show that offers a behind-the-scenes look at the life of some of the NHL’s biggest stars.

Stars players Mikko Rantanen, Wyatt Johnston and Thomas Harley will be featured on Season 2 of the show.

The Dallas trio will also be joined by star players like Sidney Crosby, Matthew and Brady Tkachuk and Marc-Andre Fleury, who will presumably be in his first year of retirement.

No Stars were featured in the first season of the show.

According to a press release from Prime Video, Season 2 “will grant even more access to the NHL’s most captivating action” and feature massive regular-season moments like Alex Ovechkin’s chase for the all-time goals record and the inaugural 4-Nations Faceoff tournament.

“Season 1 of FACEOFF really struck a chord,” said NHL President of Content and Events Steve Mayer. “We promised a behind-the-scenes look at the best hockey players in the world, and the response was incredible. … For Season 2, we’re going even deeper: more players, more access, and more emotion. From the global stage of the 4 Nations Face-Off to the pressure-packed life of a team president, and the heartbreak of a team dealing with devastating loss — it’s raw and real. You will truly go inside the NHL.”
