FRONDELL’S FIRST

Anton Frondell scored his first career NHL goal in his first game in front of the home fans. With the goal, he became the third Blackhawks player in the past 15 years to record five or more points through their first five career games, joining Henri Jokiharju (0G, 5A in 2018-19) and Artemi Panarin (2G, 3A in 2015-16).

He also became the fifth youngest Swedish player in NHL history at the time of his first career goal behind Rasmus Dahlin (18 years, 183 days on Oct. 13, 2018), Leo Carlsson (18, years, 297 days on Oct. 19, 2023), Elias Lindholm (18 years, 312 days on Oct. 10, 2013) and Gabriel Landeskog (18 years, 323 days on Oct. 12, 2011).
