Carrick (arm) has been ruled out of Thursday’s clash in Ottawa, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.
Carrick suffered the injury Tuesday against the Islanders. Carrick will be replaced on the fourth line by Josh Dunne, who has been a healthy scratch in each of the last 13 games. Carrick, who has a goal and three assists in 31 games with Buffalo this season. could return as early as Saturday in Washington.
