Utah Mammoth News and Notes:
The Utah Mammoth sits solidly in the first wild card spot in the Western Conference, five points up above an incredibly tight race between the San Jose Sharks, the Nashville Predators, the Los Angeles Kings, and several more. The Mammoth are coming off of two massive 6-2 victories as well, one against the Seattle Kraken and one against the Los Angeles Kings, who they are directly competing with for a wild card spot at the moment. With enormous momentum, the Mammoth have a huge chance to grow that even more against the bottom team in the NHL tonight
Vancouver Canucks News and Notes:

The Canucks have officially clinched last place in the NHL for the 2025-26 season as well as the top odds for the first overall pick in the 2026 NHL Draft. The Canucks grabbed a monumental win on Wednesday in an 8-6 victory against the Colorado Avalanche, however the got swiftly defeated in a 2-5 loss to the Minnesota Wild the very next day. The lineup in Vancouver is always shifting as well, with Ty Mueller playing his first NHL game of the season on Thursday and remaining in the lineup.

Players to Watch:
Utah Mammoth:
Logan Cooley and Dylan Guenther are both coming off three-point performances on Thursday against the Kraken. Utah is coming into this game with one of the most well-rounded forward cores, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. Not to mention Nick Schmaltz and Kailer Yamamoto also had multi-point performances on Thursday. There are unlimited offensive weapons for the Vancouver Canucks to look out for in tonight’s contest.
Vancouver Canucks:
Jake DeBrusk is catching a rhythm late in the season, potting a goal in his last two games, along with grabbing five points in his last six games. Elias Pettersson has been on a tear as of late as well, putting up ten points in the last nine games, and looks to continue a four-game point streak as well. Pettersson and DeBrusk have been connecting very well over the past few matchups after DeBrusk was moved up to the top line.
