The Kings’ 2025 first-round pick, Henry Brzustewicz, will join the fold after signing an amateur tryout agreement for this season and a three-year, entry-level deal that’ll take effect next year.

Brzustewicz, 19, will report to the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League imminently, then be able to move freely between the AHL and NHL levels next season. He was the 31st overall selection in June’s draft.

He spent his campaign to date in the Canadian junior system, with the Ontario Hockey League’s London Knights. They were unable to capture their third straight Robertson Cup as OHL champs. Last year, they won the Memorial Cup as well, ruling the world’s top junior circuit.

Brzustewicz led all Knights in scoring with 54 points in 59 games this season on the strength of three-year bests in goals (19) and assists (35).
