Nashville Predators News & Notes:

The Predators have won two straight after beating the Sharks 6-3 on Saturday. In their previous five games, the Predators have a 2-3-0 record, scoring 3.2 goals per game while allowing 3.8. Nashville holds the second Western Conference Wild Card spot and is even with the Kings in points, but has more regulation wins. A win Monday night will put a little distance between the two, a loss shifts them out of the playoffs and the Kings in. Nashville leads the season series 2-0 entering play Monday night.

Los Angeles Kings News & Notes:

The Kings beat the Maple Leafs 7-6 in overtime on Saturday. In their last five games, the Kings have a 3-1-1 record, scoring 3.8 goals per game while conceding 3.6. With a win Monday night, the Kings can take hold of the last Wild Card spot in the Western Conference away from the Predators. The Kings will look for their first win of the season over the Predators on Monday night.
