What to know about the Kraken vs. the Wild
This is the second game of a back-to-back road trip for the Kraken.
This is also the third and final time they face the Minnesota Wild this season. Minnesota leads the season series 2-0.
The Kraken are on a five-game losing streak with six games remaining in the regular season. While they haven’t been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs yet, it’ll be tough for them to make up the ground they’ve lost.
Minnesota has already secured their playoff spot as they sit third in the Central Division.
Captain Jordan Eberle leads the Kraken in points with 53. Forward Matty Beniers is just one goal shy of meeting the 20-goal threshold for the third time in his career.
This will also be the first time forward Freddy Gaudreau returns to Minnesota since being traded to the Kraken following the 2024–25 season. He played four seasons with the Wild.
