Tampa, 4-2-0 in their last six games, after a tough loss to the Buffalo Sabres, who are now tied with them for first in the Atlantic Division. Ottawa, meanwhile, is coming off a high-event game where defensive lapses crept in, but their top-end skill still flashed bright in a 6-3 win against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Tampa Bay continues to lean on elite offensive talent led by Nikita Kucherov (125 points, 42 goals) and Jake Guentzel (84 points, 36 goals), with secondary scoring chipping in just enough to keep opponents honest. Entering this matchup, the Lightning sit around 3 goals per game while allowing roughly 2.75 goals against.
