The Montreal Canadiens are set to face the Florida Panthers tonight at the Bell Centre, and Martin St-Louis’ lineup is beginning to take shape.

Three players are expected to be removed from the lineup by Martin St-Louis.

Patrik Laine: Scratched (coach’s decision).

Brendan Gallagher: Scratched (coach’s decision).

Joe Veleno: Absent (possibly injured or ill).

These changes have not been officially confirmed, but all indications suggest these are indeed the decisions for the three players.

Kirby Dach set to replace Joe Veleno as Canadiens prepare major lineup changes vs Panthers

The absence of forward Joe Veleno would be notable.

With his return to play confirmed earlier today, Kirby Dach is expected to take Veleno’s spot in the lineup.

This is a significant addition that should bring an interesting dynamic.

Expect significant changes tonight to the Montreal Canadiens lineup.

Recall that Martin St-Louis’ squad will face the Florida Panthers starting at 7:00 PM, live from the Bell Centre.
