TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The Tallahassee Museum is celebrating the life of Buddha after its cherished 15-year-old Florida panther died.
Buddha served as an ambassador for his endangered species for 14Â years, creating invaluable educational opportunities.
Through him, more than a million visitors learned about these elusive native cats, their behaviors, habitat needs, and why protecting them is critical for Florida’s biodiversity.Â
