LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Vegas Golden Knights have named forward Jack Eichel as the team’s nominee for the 2025-26 King Clancy Memorial Trophy.

Eichel is one of the 32 players nominated for the award, which is presented “to the player who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and has made a noteworthy humanitarian contribution in his community.”

A selection committee consisting of NHL commissioner Gary Bettman and former winners of the King Clancy Trophy and NHL Foundation Player Award will choose the winner.

The nominee with the most votes also receives a $25,000 donation to benefit a charity or charities of his choice.
