The Kraken are coming off a strong shootout win as they face the Calgary Flames for the final time this season.

SEATTLE — The Seattle Kraken continue their final homestand of the season as they take on the Calgary Flames Saturday night.

The puck drops in Seattle at 4 p.m. Pacific on Saturday, April 11. The game will be broadcast on KING 5 with pregame coverage starting at 3:30 p.m.

Here is what you need to know about Saturday night’s game:

What to know about the Kraken vs. the Flames

This is the third and final time the Kraken will face Calgary this season. They are tied 1-1 on the season series.

The Kraken finally broke their six-game losing streak with a hard-fought shootout win against the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday. They also managed to fight off being officially eliminated from playoff contention.

With just four games left to play, it would take a miracle for the Kraken to make the playoffs as they sit sixth in the Pacific Division. They would need to win the rest of their games and hope a lot of other teams lose.

Surprisingly enough, no Pacific Division team has officially clinched the playoffs. The Edmonton Oilers, Vegas, and Anaheim Ducks still have three games left to play and have not locked up a spot yet.

Calgary was eliminated from playoff contention on Wednesday. The last time they were in the playoffs was the 2021-2022 season.

Taking a look on the ice, forward Bobby McMann continues to shine for the Kraken. He has scored nine goals in 14 games. If he scores in the next two games, he will become the fastest Kraken skater to score 10 goals with the franchise, a record currently held by forward Jared McCann in 17 games.

And speaking of McCann, he netted his 20th goal of the season on Thursday night, making it his fifth season in a row to meet the 20-goal threshold. He is second on the Kraken in goals this season.
