Philadelphia Flyers News & Notes:

Philadelphia aims to solidify its standings in the Metropolitan Division with a win over the Winnipeg Jets tonight. The Flyers are just one point ahead of the New York Islanders and two points over the Columbus Blue Jackets for third place in the Metropolitan Division. The story for each team is either a playoff push or gearing up for the offseason. With the games going down to the wire, Philadelphia is likely in a push right until game 82.

Winnipeg Jets News & Notes:

Winnipeg is in the opposite situation from the Philadelphia Flyers. They’re still chasing a wildcard spot, and they sit three points behind the Los Angeles Kings, the current wildcard spot holders. Winnipeg is also behind the Nashville Predators by two points, but the Jets have a game in hand. With the outta town scoreboard needing to be favourable for Winnipeg, the Jets have to win the majority of their games if they want to push for the playoffs.
