Winnipeg Jets
The Winnipeg Jets recalled forward Brayden Yager and Nikita Chibrikov from the AHL’s Manitoba Moose on emergency conditions.

Yager, 21, has 10 goals and 30 points in 68 AHL games this season, his first as a professional hockey player.
The 5-foot-11 centre was drafted 14th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2023 and then dealt to the Jets in August of 2024 in exchange for prospect Rutger McGroarty.
Prior to this season, Yager played four seasons in the Western Hockey League with the Moose Jaw Warriors and Letbridge Hurricanes and helped Moose Jaw to a WHL championship in 2023-24.
Yager represented Canada twice at the World Juniors in 2024 and 2025, finishing fifth both times.
The Saskatoon, Sask., native could make his NHL debut on Monday against the Vegas Golden Knights.
Chibrikov, 23, appeared in eight games with the Jets this season but has not recorded a point.
The 5-foot-10 winger has six goals and 16 points in 53 games with the Moose this season.
Chibrokov was drafted 50th overall by the Jets in 2021.
Winnipeg is five points out of a playoff spot entering Sunday’s action with only three games remaining in the regular season.
They have back-to-back games on the road against the Golden Knights and Utah Mammoth on Monday and Tuesday before wrapping up the regular season at home against the San Jose Sharks on Thursday.
Edmonton Oilers
The Oilers recalled forward Isaac Howard from the AHL’s Bakersfield Condors on Sunday.
Howard, 22, was acquired by the Oilers last off-season from the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for prospect Sam O’Reilly.
The 5-foot-10 winger appeared in 28 games in Edmonton this season, recording two goals and five points. He also has 22 goals and 47 points in 45 games in the AHL.
Howard entered this season as the reigning Hobey Baker Award winner after registering 26 goals and 52 points in 37 games in the NCAA with Michigan State University during the 2024-25 campaign.
The Hudson, Wisc., native was also a member of Team USA at the 2025 World Hockey Championships where he helped his country end a 92-year gold-medal drought.
He also represented the United States at the World Juniors in 2024, recording seven goals and nine points to help the United Sates win gold.
Edmonton sits second in the Pacific Division with a 40-30-10 record and are one point behind the Vegas Golden Knights for top spot and a point ahead of the Anaheim Ducks.
They wrap up the season at home against the Colorado Avalanche on Monday followed by their regular season finale against the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday.

Dallas Stars
The Stars assigned forward Cameron Hughes to the AHL’s Texas Stars on Sunday.
Hughes, 29, appeared in three games with Dallas this season, recording a goal.
The 6-foot centre has 16 goals and 66 points in 63 games in the AHL this season.
Dallas cemented in second place in the Central Division with a 48-20-12 record and will be taking on the Minnesota Wild in the first round of the playoffs.
They wrap up the regular season with a two-game Eastern road trip against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday followed by a meeting with the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday.
Detroit Red Wings
The Red Wings recalled forward Michael Brandsegg-Nygard from the AHL’s Grand Rapids Griffins on Sunday.
Brandsegg-Nygard, 20, was the Red Wings first-round draft choice (15th overall) in 2024.
He appeared in 12 games with the Red Wings this season, recording an assist and also has 20 goals and 44 points in 58 AHL games.
The Red Wings sit sixth in the Atlantic Division with a 41-30-9 record and were eliminated from playoff contention on Saturday, continuing their drought to a 10th straight campaign.
Detroit wraps up the regular season on the road against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday followed by the Florida Panthers on Wednesday.
Pittsburgh Penguins
The Pittsburgh Penguins will be without forwards Ben Kindel, Noel Acciari, Anthony Mantha, and defencemen Ryan Shea and Connor Clifton as they take on the Washington Capitals on Sunday.

Additionally, Stuart Skinner gets the start in net against the Capitals. He has a 23-16-9 record this season split between the Edmonton Oilers and Penguins with a 2.89 goals-against average and an .889 save percentage.
Pittsburgh sits second in the Metropolitan Division with a 41-23-16 record, four points ahead of the Philadelphia Flyers. They clinched the playoffs on Thursday after they defeated the New Jersey Devils 5-2 to end a three-year playoff drought.
The Penguins end the season on the road against the Capitals on Sunday followed by a date with the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday.
San Jose Sharks
The Sharks recalled defenceman Luca Cagnoni from the AHL’s San Jose Barracuda on Sunday.
Cagnoni, 21, appeared in six games with the Sharks this season, recording two assists. he also has 8 goals and 43 points in 67 games in the AHL.
The 5-foot-9., left-shot defenceman was drafted 123rd overall by the Sharks in 2023 and registered 16 goals and 52 points last season in the AHL, his first as a professional.
San Jose sits five points back of the Los Angeles Kings for the final wild-card spot in the Western Conference with three games remaining in the regular season.
The Sharks finish the season with a three-game road trip beginning with a crucial game against the Nashville Predators on Monday, followed by back-to-back games against the Chicago Blackhawks and Winnipeg jets on Wednesday and Thursday.
