The Chicago Blackhawks will officially enter the 2026 NHL Draft Lottery with the second-best odds and are guaranteed to select no lower than fourth overall.

Following Sunday night’s slate of games and their respective results, the Blackhawks will finish the 2025-26 season with the second-worst record in the league, earning them a top-four pick in this year’s upcoming draft. Here is a look at how their odds break down in the upcoming lottery:

No. 1 overall: 13.5% chance

No. 2 overall: 14.1% chance

No. 3 overall: 30.7% chance

No. 4 overall: 41.7% chance

This marks the fourth consecutive year the Blackhawks will pick inside the top four. They selected Connor Bedard first overall in 2023, Artyom Levshunov second overall in 2024, and Anton Frondell third overall in 2025.
