A brand new blockbuster trade proposal has just come to light involving the Vancouver Canucks and Buffalo Sabres completing a one for one trade.
With an extremely disappointing start, middle and end for both the Vancouver Canucks and Buffalos Sabres, the respective General Managers are going to be getting hard to work in order to switch their fortunes around.
Trade Proposal between the Vancouver Canucks and Buffalo Sabres doesn’t really make a lot of sense..
One thing is for certain, is that all year long the Canucks have been highly interested in acquiring the talents of star defenseman Bowen Byram from the Sabres.
With many rumours and ideas proposed, nothing ended up coming to fruition, but now the offseason has started, it can be the time for Patrik Allvin to pull the trigger.
First seen by The Score, a new trade prosper has emerged suggesting that the Canucks could compete a one for one swap that would send Elias Pettersson to the Buffalos Sabres for Bowen Byram.
Byram for Pettersson? Who Says No?
In reality, there really is no way this would happen for multiple reasons..
One, pettersson makes way, way more money and has an upside that has already been oven in the past.
Byram is no slouch and would make the Canucks a better team, but as a defenseman who has yet to prove his dominance in the NHL, with a long history of severe injuries to boot.
It would be cool idea, but swapping a forward and defenseman isn’t really viable..
