The Penguins head into the playoffs as the No. 2 seed in the Metropolitan Division, finishing the regular season with a 41-25-16 record, 15 points behind the conference-leading Carolina Hurricanes. The duo of Sidney Crosby and Rust is a major part of Pittsburgh’s success this season. Crosby leads the team with 74 points on 29 goals and 45 assists. Rust had 65 points with 29 goals and 36 assists. However, the role players of Erik Karlsson and Malkin are the oil that keeps this engine running.

The Flyers finished their regular season with a 43-27-12 record, which placed them as the No. 3 team in the same division and the last-place team in the Eastern Conference. They were one point back from the Ottawa Senators and tied with their opponent, with Pittsburgh winning the tiebreaker. Travis Konecny and Trevor Zegras have 68 and 67 points, respectively, both with 41 assists, Konecny having one more goal.

Oklahoma City will head to Phoenix for the next two games of the series before it heads back to Oklahoma for Game 5, if necessary.
