Bonneville’s “KSL Sports Zone” 1280 KZNS Salt Lake City/97.5 KZNS-FM Coalville UT launched a new weekday lineup on Monday, April 20.
“DJ & PK” hosted by David James and Patrick Kinahan remains in mornings from 6-10am. They will now be followed by former 12-3pm co-host Scott Garrard and Tim ‘The Coach’ LaComb from 10am to 2pm. Garrard had been hosting the timeslot solo since Hans Olsen departed the station in January.
Former 10am to 12pm hosts Jake Scott and Ben Anderson will move to afternoons from 2-6pm. Scott previously hosted afternoons until 2021 and had been teamed with Anderson, who also serves as the station’s Utah Jazz Insider since then. They replace the former afternoon show hosted by Jeremiah ‘JJ’ Jackson and Alex Kirry. Kirry posted over the weekend that he will be remaining with KSL with a new project in the works. Jackson continues to serve as a sports anchor at KSL-TV.
Program Director Lloyd Cole said, “Tim LaComb brings years of coaching experience and an infectious positive energy that has helped him build authentic relationships with some of the biggest names in sports. That coupled with the continued charismatic brilliance of Scott Garrard will provide the listener with an incredible show the likes of which has never been witnessed here in Utah.”
