It was a difficult season for the St. Louis Blues. They finished the year at 37-33-12, placing them in fifth in the Central Division, as the Blues missed the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

While the season was rough for the team, Jordan Kyrou did not have a great year either. He played in 72 games, but also missed time due to injury. Now, an update on his status has been given by the team.

“St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today that forward Jordan Kyrou underwent a minor knee procedure earlier this week. Kyrou is expected to be ready for training camp,” the team reported.

It was one of the worst seasons of Kyrou’s career in 2025-26. Since becoming a full-time NHL player during the 2020-21 season, he has scored 25 or more goals in all but two seasons. Once was his first full season, the COVID-19-shortened 2020-21, when he scored 14 times. The other was this year, when he found the back of the net just 18 times.

Meanwhile, he has just 28 assists, his fewest amount of helpers since 2020-21 as well, when he had 21. He also had his worst powerplay production, amassing just 14 points. Kyrou did see his ice time drop this past year. Over the prior four seasons, he was averaging over 17 minutes per game, but dropped to 15:43 per game this year.

Kyrou has said he would be open to a change of scenery if the chance were provided. Until then, he prepared for the 2026-27 campaign with the Blues and should be ready to go when training camp opens.
