For you, when you look at this, what has to change for the next coming years for this LA Kings team?

Yeah.
Initially, I was gonna say like, “Ah, they should, they should rebuild.”
But then it’s like well, no, they have Panarin, and they just got him.
Fiala was absent, which was obviously huge.
but now you do have to fill the hole of Anze Kopitar’s retirement.
And, you know, Quinton Byfield is the most obvious candidate because he is a center, he is big.
He’s been sort of, you know, mentored by Kopitar over the years.
Is he ready to take that next step?
I guess we’ll see.
but I think for the Kings, it’s gonna be a big summer.
They have to figure out, like, do we push to the next level?
Like, do we bring in somebody else?

can we find somebody else to be a top six center that can bolster what our wingers can do?
Or do they say, “You know what?
W- we gotta take a step back.
you know, we gotta get more young guys in this lineup.
We gotta get faster.”
It’s gonna be very interesting.
I, I do not envy their brain trust right now because they’re in a tough spot.
