At one stage, the Anaheim Ducks, Boston Bruins, Chicago Blackhawks, Philadelphia Flyers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Seattle Kraken and Vancouver Canucks needed a new coach. It was initially thought that the Montreal Canadiens’ farm team head coach, Pascal Vincent, could be targeted by one of those teams.
