Gary Bettman and the NHL have officially made their decision regarding Taylor Hall‘s dangerous hit on Lane Hutson in Game 2 in Carolina.

And the verdict will absolutely not please Canadiens fans.

As of now, the day after the game, no official announcement has been made regarding a suspension or fine for the Hurricanes forward.

The silence confirms the verdict.

Taylor Hall avoids NHL discipline after controversial knee hit on Lane Hutson

“Hall clearly leading with his knee here”

It certainly looked like an obvious attempt to injure!

“Taylor Hall seems to have targeted Lane Hutson’s knee on this play.”

But despite all that, the NHL has apparently chosen to look the other way once again.

It’s the kind of questionable decision that continues to damage the NHL’s credibility.

At least Lane Hutson does not appear to be seriously injured, in any case!

Now it remains to be seen how Hutson will look heading into Game 3 Monday night at the Bell Centre.

And whether Taylor Hall will have to answer for his questionable hit once the series shifts back to Canadiens ice.
