The Boston Bruins are making headlines at the IIHF World Championships.
Lukas Reichel, who has been skating on the first line for Germany, had a four-point night in a 6-2 win. James Hagens also returned to the lineup for the United States. He centered the second line, with Alex Steeves to his left, and he played his best game of the tournament. Though he did not hit the scoresheet, he got four shots on goal and won six of 10 faceoffs.
And a Bruins prospect won the Kharlamov Cup (Russia-MHL) this morning.
Elsewhere around the league, the Hurricanes beat the Canadiens last night and evened the Eastern Conference Final. Game 3 of the Western Conference Final is tonight, and the Avalanche may be without their star defenseman again; only he knows. The Devils need depth scoring, and they have trade targets.
The Flyers have a decision to make in goal, and the Red Wings have one to make with a former Bruin.

LUKAS REICHEL: The one Bruin to land on the scoresheet yesterday was Lukas Reichel, and he didn’t just do it once; he finished with four points and now leads all abroad Bruins in points. Reichel’s hat trick led Germany to beat Austria 6-2 yesterday. Check out all three goals here.

Prospects Update
YEMELYANOV: Kirill Yemelyanov and Loko have won the Kharlamov Cup! They beat JHC Spartak this morning, 5-0, in Game 6 of the finals. Yemelyanov scored a hat trick and finished the playoffs with a league-leading 10 goals.

Carolina Hockey Now: The Hurricanes are on the board, and successfully avoided going to Montreal down 2-0 in the series. Eric Robinson scored in the first period, Nikolaj Ehlers scored in the second, and Frederik Andersen only needed to make 10 saves. Rachel Barkley has more from last night’s win.

Montreal Hockey Now: Josh Anderson tied the game twice and the Canadiens forced overtime, but could not grab a 2-0 series lead in Raleigh last night. The Canadiens also finished with 12 shots. Marc Dumont has more highlights from last night’s game.

Sportsnet: Cale Makar has not played in either of the first two games of the WCF. Game 3 is tonight in Las Vegas, and yesterday, Jared Bednar said that only Makar knows what the injury feels like, and he will tell the team when he’s ready to play.
New Jersey Hockey Now: Depth scoring has been an issue in New Jersey. They have some internal options, like Connor Brown, Arseny Gritsyuk, and Cody Glass, but they have a new GM who may explore a trade for someone who costs low but comes with high upside. James Nichols has more Devils’ trade targets.
Philly Hockey Now: What should the Flyers do with Sam Ersson? One of the longest tenured Flyers is a restricted free agent this summer, and he has given the Flyers a reason to stick with him (though not as a No. 1). He wants to stay in Philly, and Will James looks at why they should and should not keep him around.
Detroit Hockey Now: James van Reimsdyk just finished his first season in Detroit. The former Bruin has been playing the last few seasons on one-year deals. This year, he scored 15 goals and had 31 points, and Kevin Allen has DHN’s grade and contract projection.
Pittsburgh Hockey Now: The P-Bruins were knocked out by the Springfield Thunderbirds. Last night, the Thunderbirds were knocked out by the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. The Penguins won 8-1, and Dan Kingerski was there.
