BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) – On Monday, some major announcements were made in regards to the future of professional hockey in Biloxi.
This upcoming season, the team formerly known as the Mississippi Sea Wolves will return for its fourth season as part of the Federal Prospects Hockey League with new owners, a new look, and a new name: the Biloxi Breakers.

Fans were also excited to learn that former team captain Justin Barr would be joining the team in an off-the-ice capacity.
“It was tough, but also, this is providing an opportunity for myself and my family to stay in hockey and continue to help grow down here on the Gulf Coast,” explained Barr.
It is unclear what Barr’s exact title and responsibilities will be. However, fans are optimistic for the future with the local star on staff.
