— The Alexandria girls hockey team had a successful 2024-25 season, winning the Central Lakes Conference title for the third season in a row and finishing as a Section 8-2A semifinalist.
Emma Ramstorf was named the conference’s Defensive Player of the Year and was named to the all-conference team alongside Rachael Mohr and Lilly Dutton.
Ramstorf, a Hamline University commit, had 14 goals and eight assists this season. Ramstorf finishes with 59 points (30 goals and 29 assists), the seventh-most by an Alexandria defender in program history.
Dutton had a team-high 24 points (12 goals and 12 assists) this season.
Mohr had a 13-9-2 record in net this season. She made 557 saves, had a 2.54 goals against average, and a .895 save percentage. Mohr finishes her Cardinal career with 1,290 saves. Mohr is one of only six goalies in Alexandria history to have 1,000 career saves.
Anna Korynta, Kennedy Ellingson, and Lauren Hornstein were named all-conference honorable mentions.
Ellingson had 15 points this season (six goals and nine assists). Ellingson wraps up her Alexandria career with 68 points (28 goals and 40 assists), 16th most by an Alexandria forward in program history.
Korynta had five goals and nine assists this season, while Lauren Hornstein, a Hamline commit, had six goals and four assists.
Izzy Nei and Teagan Cullen won Alexandria team awards. Nei was named the team’s most improved player, while Cullen received the All In award. Cullen had five goals and five assists this season in 27 games, while Nei appeared in 19 games.
Mylie Senne won Alexandria’s Hobey Baker Character Coaches Award.
