The Dallas Stars are one step closer to seeing their Plano arena dreams come to fruition.
Dallas Stars president Brad Alberts and Centennial CEO Steve Levin recently spoke to The Dallas Morning News to break down why the former mall site is a good fit for the franchise. Having the Stars can help the Plano community create a “much more dominant sense of place,” according to Levin.
Alberts said the Stars plan to create a better fan experience than the one they currently have.
“This is the biggest project in the history of Collin County. It’s the biggest project in the history of the Dallas Stars,” Alberts said. “To have some public financing capability behind us to be able to execute, it’s essential in a complex project like this.”
