Big news today for fans of the Montreal Canadiens organization.
There has been a significant move within the Montreal Canadiens hierarchy, as Pascal Vincent is leaving the club to join the Seattle Kraken as an assistant coach.
It was the Seattle organization itself that confirmed the hiring.
An official announcement was released Thursday by the Kraken on its official platforms.
“The newest members of the ship.
The Seattle Kraken are excited to welcome Patrik Allvin as our new Assistant General Manager and Pascal Vincent as an assistant coach.”

Pascal Vincent’s departure leaves a vacancy within the Canadiens’ farm system, as the organization will now need to find a new head coach for the Laval Rocket.
He is therefore joining the Kraken’s coaching staff.
Vincent is not the only one heading to Seattle.
The Kraken have also hired Patrik Allvin as assistant general manager.
Seattle is adding experience to key positions, and these are two strong additions for the organization.
Who will replace Pascal Vincent as head coach of the Laval Rocket?
Pascal Vincent’s departure is obviously not going unnoticed.
The Canadiens will now have to find a replacement for him… and that is another important decision added to the organization’s list of priorities this summer.
For Vincent, it is a new opportunity to prove himself at the highest level.
